Re: Roofing installation on House and detached Garage.

We became interested in your product when we saw a neighbour's, (Len Sylvester) house roof during our investigation into a roof replacement. Although the pricing was expensive, the look, warranty, neighbourhood references and benefits of an Interlock roof, persuaded us to contract with you.

The installation of an aluminum black slate roof on our house and garage is just being completed today.

We are very satisfied with the result. It looks magnificent, and our neighbours are already commenting on the beautiful appearance.

Moses and Fred were sent as our installation team, and we are very happy that they were assigned to our job site. They are both extremely hard working. They put in long hours during a very hot humid summer period. Their work was professional, and they were friendly to us and considerate of our neighbours. Moses' experience and attention to detail has produced an excellent result on a complex roof structure.

We look forward to many years of satisfaction, and a return on our investment when we eventually sell our home.

Following the installation of our new Interlock roof (Slate Style in Green Colour) in late summer 2010, we are pleased to report that we are completely satisfied with the look and appeal of the new roof in addition and more notably with the quality of the product (Energy Star Rating) and installation. The Interlock installers were quite competent and meticulous in their work and procedures as well as being quite forthcoming and courteous in providing answers to our questions.

There was only one minor issue following the installation and that was resolved on a very timely basis and explains our complete satisfaction with this new Interlock roofing system on our summer home originally built in 1940 on the 1000 Islands Parkway between Gananoque and Lansdowne. We are also grateful to Barry Brinson for arranging to have delivered to us a few more green Interlock tiles so that we can adapt and install them to the tops of the bird houses found on the property!

Based on this very positive experience and outcome, we wholeheartedly recommend the Interlock Roofing system/product and the professional installation crew that worked on our summer home in the 1000 Islands.

I had a new Interlock roof installed a few weeks ago and would like to express my appreciation for work well done.

Your salesman, Mr. Barry Brinson, who was my first contact with Interlock, was impressive in his knowledge and experience. He gave me the confidence to deal with your establishment. He explained all roofing options and did not put any pressure on me to make an immediate decision.

Your roofing team under Mr John Caverley, were quietly efficient and proceeded to do the job in a professional manner that gave me confidence in the quality of their workmanship. They left my property spotless after their clean-up. Please thank them all for me.

My roof looks beautiful. It surpassed my expectations in terms of looks and I know that its durability will not disappoint. Mr Brinson did not mention one advantage to your roof which both my wife and I enjoy: we love to hear the sound of the rain softly tapping on the roof.

To summarize, I am glad I chose Interlock to do my roof. I could not have had a better team of roofers, or a better product. Please express my appreciation to everyone involved for a job well done! Thank you.

We are the talk of our neighbourhood. Our house now has the best looking roof on our street and we are proud of it.
Chris and Paul who worked on the roof were extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. What a great representation of your company standards. They kept us informed of their progress, worked endlessly and constantly cleaned up after themselves. Job well done!!!Many of our neighbours came out to watch and were impressed with the workmanship and style of the Interlock roof.

Hopefully other home owners will realize the benefits of having this type of roofing system.

Our biggest concern was the noise level when it was raining. Our concern was put to ease the other night because we had a rain storm and we could barely hear the rain drops on the roof.

We now can sleep peacefully knowing that we now have a strong quiet maintenance-free roof.

Dear Ted,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much we liked the look of our black Interlock shingle roof, that was installed in 2002. Our home was in a beautiful country estate subdivision in Belwood a small community located north of Guelph.

We found that the gentlemen who installed the roof to be very professional and at the end of the day they would take it upon themselves to insure the rounds of the property were clear of any debris.
This house was our dream home, we spent years landscaping and doing home renovations, having this roof finished the look with added curb appeal. We had many neighbors and friends inquire through us about our
roof, and we were happy to give information regarding the roof.

Unfortunately my husband was transferred and we put our house on the market. One of the major selling factors of our house was our beautiful black Interlock shingle style roof with the non-prorated transferable guarantee. The family that purchased our home are in love with the style of the Interlock shingles which add character, junction and such curb appeal.

We are now settled in our new home and when the roof needs to be replaced, we will be making a phone call to have another Interlock roof installed.

We will be seeing you in the future.

My Wife and I are very pleased with our new aluminum roof it has been almost four months since Interlock crew in so efficient and timely manner installed it. Some years ago after my asphalt shingles roof No.3, I promised myself never again die asphalt crap, I HATE IT (Heavy, Flammable, Granules- shedding-eaves-clogging, Gone with the wind, etc, etc.).

The concept of permanent roofing system with a lifetime transferable warranty, will give us peace of mind, as well) as increase the value of our property.

After some hesitation regarding the cost, looking in retrospect, I believe it -was the right decision to make. The only thing left to do now is to seat, and relax under a maintenance free Interlock roof.

Finally, hats off to the installation crew, very helpful in answering technical question, posed to them on the precautions they took to prevent damage to property, on how clean they daily left the surroundings.

It has now been two years since the installation, of metal interlocking shingles on the roof of my residence in Ottawa . As I indicated to the salesman at the time, if after two years I was totally satisfied with the installation and performance of my new roof I would take the time to extol the virtues of the Interlock system.

To date, I have indeed been most impressed with the performance of my roof Prior to installation of the Interlock system, I was required to change the asphalt shingles on my roof every eight to ten years. Because I have a low slope roof on my home, I was not immune from the occasional leak between re-shingling jobs. Re-shingling a roof is a major financial investment, and obviously more so when considering an upgrade from the standard asphalt shingles used by the construction industry, Therefore, prior to my decision to accept the Interlock roof system, I has a number or concerns such as fading, longevity, performance, workmanship, appearance, etc. I can categorically state that, to date, initial apprehensions have not materialized. My new Interlock roof has satisfied me beyond all expectation. Besides the leak-free performance of my new root the next greatest benefit is the appearance of the Interlock shingles versus the conventional asphalt shingles. Homes with the Interlock systems have a much greater esthetic appearance as attested to by friends, neighbors and strangers passing through the area. This, in addition to the lifetime warranty (50 years on re-sale of the home), greatly enhances the marketability of the home on re-sale. To say I am pleased as punch with my new roofing system is an understatement.

I have no objection to Interlock Industries using my endorsement of their product. I have not, nor will I receive any financial or other benefit for this endorsement. Satisfaction and piece of mind (especially when it rains) are my rewards. Thank-yon Interlock Industries for a job well done.

I would first apologize for such a delay in this letter. As you were aware, when we spoke to you, we had just purchased our house, and were still in the process of continuing with additional modifications, including the installation of your companies INTERLOCK ROOFING SYSTEM, We have had the new roof for the past six months, and I am astounded that so few people have taken advantage of such a roofing design. We have been through a few storms since the installation, and they were bad, however, we actuaJly heard no noise from the pounding rains, which I was concerned as the roofing is aluminum.

I must also add that your staff was outstanding. The fact that I am police officer meant that some mornings I was not up as bright and early as your staff. They however were very obliging in working on another area of the roof, until after I had awakened. I never did hear them up on the roof. They were also very meticulous in ensuring all of the left over debris was cleaned up.

In closing, I can only hope that your company some how reaches a lot more home owners, as your system of roofing is not only exceptionally sound, safe and pleasing to the eve, more importantly, it is ecological, thus saving some of our near depleted natural resources.

We wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our new Interlock Roof. The initial information session, the quality of product and workmanship and follow up has been excellent. In the low key introductory session, we received sufficient Information to make an informed decision. Witn the range of colours and styles we had several options that would have worked for our house. We were convinced that this product would have long lasting benefits to the appearance of our house. 

The men who worked on our house, as well as being friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the product, worked quickly. It was really appreciated how they tidied as they went along. They kept us informed about the progress of their work and at the end did a walk through of the whole job. They explained how to go on the roof safely to do any future chimney work for example.

The interlocking roof really has added to the attractiveness of the house. It looks "smart and has drawn interest from neighbours and passers by.

We like the way the interlocking roof has become an integral part of the eaves troughing and protects the fascia boards which will provide extra strength and protection,

Already we notice that the autumn leaves are sliding away - and the squirrels too! We anticipate that snow and Ice will act in the same way,

Most home purchases are made on emotion rather than based on logic. Purchasers often fail to recognize basic elements of a house that would have an enormous effect on their purchase and liability. That's why people should engage the services of a certified Home Inspector. Some time later a homeowner's logic seems to kick in. when it comes time for one of those basic home elements to be repaired, replaced or upgraded; like a roofing system.

A roof provides some limited mechanical protection against falling objects, but the primary purpose of a roof is to keep the building and its occupants protected from rain, snow, sun, wind and all the combinations of these. Further, roofs may also add to, or detract from, the appearance of a building. As a Home Inspector, I have seen them all -- the good, the bad and the ugly. That is why, when it came time to replace the roof on my own home, it was important to me to have a top quality, effective, affordable and good looking roofing system that I would not have to worry about again for anything - ever. That is why I took a serious interest in INTERLOCK. It was only logical.

I can say with some certitude, that this is the last house that my family and I will ever own. It is here that my wife and I plan to enjoy our reclining years. I did not want to have to worry about replacing something like my roof every 10 to 20 years. It's only logical to do it once.

Now, I must admit that when I first saw the dollar value of the installed INTERLOCK roof, I was taken aback. There is no question, this is a major investment. Yet, since it was installed over my existing roof, I saved the cost of having to have the old roof stripped off. Furthermore, there are the additional savings of never having to put on, or strip off any future roofs. For that matter, I will never again have the worry and stress of getting another roof. Over time, I feel that I am well ahead of the game, and I have no regrets about my choice of INTERLOCK.

INTERLOCK has definitely added to the esthetic appeal of our home, and increased its market value. The INTERLOCK Lifetime .Warranty with a 50 year transferable non-prorated limited ' warranty will give us another level of comfort when we eventually do sell our home. A warranty like that causes a reality check on ones own mortality -- the INTERLOCK roof may very well outlast us! Only time will tell.

It's easy to understand why I can spend my time now, inspecting other peoples' roofs, and never worry again about my own. INTERLOCK may not be for everyone — too bad - for everyone. But then again, from a Home Inspectors' point of view, maybe it's not so bad after all!
